PLAYER CHARACTERS Leaf
Class: Lord
Cuan and Ethlin's son, and the next heir to Lenster. After having his parents murdered in the Thracian massacre at Yied, he was driven out of Lenster by the Granbell Empire. He has since settled in a village called Fiana, and seeks to avenge his parents and reclaim his kingdom.
Finn
Class: Lance Knight
A loyal knight of Lenster. He saved Leaf's life by escaping with him from the Empire's attack on Lenster. He swears to Leaf that he will recapture their nation. He adopted Nanna, the princess of Nodion, and took her and Leaf to Fiana.
Eyvel
Class: Swordmaster
The marquess of Fiana, and also the leader of the militia group that defends the village from bandits and highwaymen. She suffered from amnesia, so she's not sure who she really is, but she might be Briggid of the Yungvi family. Mareeta is her adopted daughter.
Halvan
Class: Axe Fighter
A member of the Fiana Militia. A calm and collected person, he acts as Eyvel's right-hand man. He's like an older brother to the other younger members of the militia group.
Othin
Class: Axe Fighter
A member of the Fiana Militia. He's brash and quick to anger, but he has a kind heart. He's good friends with Tanya, although they never seem to stop yelling at each other.
Dagda
Class: Warrior
The ex-head-honcho of the Purple Dragon Mountain brigands, but he was changed by Eyvel. He now aids the Fiana Militia. Tanya's father.
Tanya
Class: Bow Fighter
A member of the Fiana Militia. She grew up among brigands like her father, and she talks as such. She and Othin are always fighting, but deep down...
Marty
Class: Brigand (Mountain Thief)
A not-so-brigand-like brigand from Dagda's group. He's very strong, but he's also a little sheepish, so he often ends up being used by his enemies.
Ronan
Class: Bow Fighter
A fisherman of Ith. He has a strong sense of justice, and he joins Leaf's army to protect his village from pirate attacks.
Lifis
Class: Thief
The boss of a band of pirates that make their base on an island off the coast of Ith. He's cunning and won't hesitate to do anything to get what he wants, but deep down he's a bit of a coward. He was captured by Leaf, but he managed to persuade Saphy into asking Leaf to let him join.
Saphy
Class: Priest
A young cleric from Tahra. She is on a mission from Linoan to seek out warriors to fight for the liberation of her city. She's strong-willed and doesn't give up easily.
Brighton
Class: Axe Knight
A former knight of Manster. He saw how his people were suffering under the current ruler, so he joined the Magi group to do something about it.
Machua
Class: Swordfighter
A native of Manster, Machua has been with the Magi group since its establishment. She is a skilled swordswoman who can stand her own against strong male fighters.
Lara
Class: Thief
A young thief who aids the Magi group with her lockpicking skills. She was originally a dancer, but she suffered abuse from her boss. Pahn rescued her by buying her from her former employer.
Fergus
Class: Free Knight
A traveling mercenary. He loves his freedom, and he has a habit of getting himself involved in conflicts. That habit got himself and Karin thrown in jail in Manster, and he joins Leaf after being rescued.
Karin
Class: Pegasus Rider
A cheerful Pegasus Rider from Ciledia, and a personal servant of the Ciledian princess, Fee. She was sent to find Sety, but she was imprisoned in Manster with Fergus. She joins Leaf after being rescued. Her Pegasus is named "Hermes."
Dalshin
Class: Axe Armor
A knight of Manster. He's serious and a strong sense of duty. His younger brother, Yuvel, had been imprisoned in the fort of Kelves due to the child hunting, but after learning that Leaf had rescued him, he switches sides and joins Leaf.
Asvel
Class: Mage
A young mage who travels with Sety. He can wield the Grafcalibur spell. He's an old friend of Leaf, and they promised to build the ideal nation together.
Nanna
Class: Troubadour
The princess of Nodion, and Lachesis' daughter. She was adopted by Finn, and she and Leaf grew up like brother and sister. She was kidnapped by Reidric, but Leaf rescued her.
Hicks
Class: Axe Knight
A knight of Manster. After having his son Maphy rescued by Leaf, he joins up.
Shiva
Class: Swordfighter
A mercenary hired by Lifis. He has his own set of ethics that he follows, and as such, he warns Lifis when he tries to take advantage of Saphy.
Carrion
Class: Social Knight
A knight of Lenster serving Hannibal. A kind-hearted man, he joins Leaf in hopes of seeing Lenster rise to glory once again.
Selphina
Class: Arch Knight
A knight of Lenster living in secrecy in a mansion in the mountains along with Dorias and her husband, Glade. She defended by mansion from the Thracians until Leaf arrived.
Kein
Class: Lance Knight
A knight of Lenster who lost his parents in the war. He joins Leaf along with Selphina.
Alba
Class: Lance Knight
A knight of Lenster, like his father before him. He joins Leaf along with Selphina.
Roberto
Class: Arch Knight
An orphan who joined Selphina out of admiration for her. He joins Leaf along with Selphina.
Olwen
Class: Mage Knight
A knight in the service of Freeji in charge of the surveillance squad. She respects her brother Rinehart so much that she is manipulated by Kempuf and imprisoned.
Fred
Class: Paladin
Olwen's most trusted lieutenant. He has a strong sense of justice, and he joins Leaf in an effort to rescue Olwen.
Mareeta
Class: Swordfighter
Eyvel's adopted daughter. She has a stout heart and never gives up, but she ended up being captured by Reidric, where she attacked Leaf under the control of the Blade of Darkness. After being rescued by Galzus and Cyas, she joins Leaf.
Seiram
Class: Lopto Mage
A former Lopto bishop who had suspicions about the order and resigned. He was nearly killed when he tried to leave the order, but was rescued by Pahn.
Pahn
Class: Thief Fighter
The leader of a group of thieves known as the "Dandelion" which makes its base in the thick forests of Dakia. He never takes from the poor and never kills unnecessarily.
Tina
Class: Priest
Saphy's younger sister. She set out to look for Saphy after she left Tahra, but was captured by Pahn on the way. She's naive and actually believes that she was really enslaved by Pahn.
Trude
Class: Swordfighter
A mercenary offering his services to Pahn. He trusts Pahn like no other.
Glade
Class: Duke Knight
Selphina's husband, and a noble of Lenster who was driven out due to the invasion. He hopes to reclaim Lenster, and he goes to Tahra to help Linoan, who has the same goal. He's good friends with Finn.
Dean
Class: Dragon Knight
A knight of Thracia. He went to Tahra's aid and protected Linoan in place of Arione, who couldn't move freely due to the tension between Thracia and the Empire. He doesn't act like it, but he's a kind man.
Eda
Class: Dragon Rider
A knight of Thracia who went to Tahra's aid with her older brother, Dean. A brave woman, she won't hesitate to put her life in danger to protect those she holds dear, but at the same time, that courage makes her seem unpredictable and reckless.
Homeros
Class: Bard
An easygoing bard and quite the womanizer. He respects freedom more than anything; both his own and others'.
Linoan
Class: Sister
The ruler of Tahra. Her father was executed by the Empire for hiding Leaf right after he escaped from Lenster. Tahra was later captured by the Empire, but Linoan couldn't stand the abuse that thy were putting her people through, so she started a rebellion. She and Arione are engaged.
Ralph
Class: Mercenary
A traveling mercenary. On his way to Lenster, bandits attacked the village he was staying at, so he stood up to protect the villagers.
Shanam
Class: Swordmaster
A mercenary from Isaac. He pretends to be Prince Shanan of Isaac, but he apparently isn't very good at it, for Homeros sees through his guise almost instantly. He "teaches" Mareeta the Starstrike skill.
Miranda
Class: Mage
The princess of Alster. However, Alster fell to the Empire, and her father was taken prisoner for sheltering Leaf, and Miranda herself was taken hostage and sent to a Lopto monastery. She claims Leaf to be responsible for her nation's collapse.
Sleuf
Class: Priest
A Bragi priest. While praying in the Tower of Bragi, he heard a prophecy from the dead Bishop Claud. He then seeks out Leaf to confirm Claud's words.
Eyrios
Class: Mage Knight
A knight of Freeji. Being of common birth, he dreams of being a noble some day. He has such a complex toward his peasant heritage that Karin teases him about it.
Misha
Class: Pegasus Knight
A Ciledian knight. She works as a mercenary for the Empire to feed the starving children in Ciledia.
Sara
Class: Sister
The granddaughter of Manfroy, the Archbishop of the Lopto Church. However, she doesn't like her grandfather because he killed her parents, and thus she willingly joins Leaf's army. She can use the Kia, the staff to cure petrification which can only be used by those directly descending from Manfroy.
Xavier
Class: General
A former general of Lenster. After Lenster fell to the Empire, the people had no place to go, so Xavier joined the Imperial army to ensure their safety.
Amalda
Class: Paladin
A loyal knight of Freeji. She joined the Freeji army out of admiration for Alvis. She diligently follows her superiors' commands, but she can't help but feel remorse for aiding the Lopto Church's child hunting.
Conomore
Class: Paladin
A general of Alster. After Alster fell to the Empire, he joined the Imperial army out of consideration for Miranda, who was taken hostage. He has hopes of rescuing her and recapturing their country.
Delmud
Class: Forrest Knight
The prince of Nodion, and Nanna's older brother. He was originally part of the Isaac Liberation Front led by Celice, but after Lenster's safety was established, he joined Leaf's army out of concern for Nanna.
Cyas
Class: High Priest
A Lopto bishop, and a genius tactician for the Empire. He is Aida's son. He is a descendent of the holy knights of Velthomer. His presence alone is enough to make his troops' morale skyrocket. He secretly rescued Mareeta and dropped her off at a village in the forest of Dakia. He later breaks the curse of the Blade of Darkness and turns it into a holy sword.
Sety
Class: Sage
The prince of Ciledia, and the leader of the Magi group who fights for the freedom of the people of Manster. He was originally traveling to look for his father, but upon seeing the mess Manster was in, he felt inclined to help.
Galzus
Class: Mercenary
A traveling mercenary of renowned strength. He attacks Leaf after being hired by Reidric. He's actually part of the royalty of the now disintegrated kingdom of Libo which was destroyed by Isaac. Mareeta's father.
TACTICIANS
August
A former Bragi bishop. He offers his services to Leaf after he saves the village of Ith. He then continues to aid Leaf with his wise advice and plays a major role in the liberation of Lenster. He's a very intelligent man who always takes a pragmatic approach towards problems, looking at the issue realistically and choosing the safest and most beneficial path for leaf.
Dorias
A knight of Lenster. He lost his right arm while fending off Imperial forces to let Leaf escape from Alster. After that, he got aid from Hannibal and used his mansion hidden in the mountains to secretly gather the remaining knights of nobles of Lenster and retrain them. After reuniting with Leaf, he joins the army as a tactician. Unlike August, he's an optimist and follower of the knightly code, so their opinions often clash.
OTHER CHARACTERS
Celice
The son of Sigurd, the lord of Chalphy. After fleeing to Isaac from Barhara, he grew up, and established the Isaac Liberation Front to lead a rebellion against the Empire. He and Leaf meet for the first time in Alster. After that, Leaf headed for Manster, while Celice made his way to Conort. I assume the rest is in Seisen no Keifu, which I haven't gotten very far through.
Yuria
A member of the Isaac Liberation Front. She's the twin sister of Yurius.
MAJOR ENEMY CHARACTERS Reidric
Class: Baron
Although originally a general of Conort, he was seduced by the Empire and betrayed his nation. He is now the marquess of Manster. He'll do anything for wealth and power.
Berdo
Class: Dark Bishop
A Lopto bishop, and a high-ranking member of the Schwarze Rosen, the Lopto Church's infamous mage army. He is the mastermind behind all of the Lopto Church's activities in Thracia. He petrified Eyvel with the Stone spell.
Kempuf
Class: Mage Knight
A Freeji general in charge of Dandrum Fortress. He is jealous of his colleague Rinehart, and he tricks his sister, Olwen, into imprisonment. Kempuf has no honor whatsoever, and he doesn't hesitate to abandon his troops and flee to save his own skin.
Blume
Class: Baron
The king of the Freejis, and the current ruler of Alster. After Leaf recaptured Lenster, he tried to retake it. However, Celice then took down Alster, so Blume fled to Conort.
Rinehart
Class: Mage Knight
A general of Freeji, and Ishtar's personal guard. Olwen's older brother. He is said to be the second coming of the Holy Warrior Tordo. He leads the Gelpritter at the Great River of Thracia to face the Liberation Army.
Yurius
Class: Dark Prince
The Emperor of the Granbell Empire. Yuria's twin brother. He loves Ishtar, and he threatens her into casting out Rinehart out of jealousy. He then takes Ishtar to Miletos.
Ishtar
Class: Sage
The queen of the Freejis, and Blume's daughter. She is Yurius' lover. After Yurius ordered her to send Rinehart away, she travels to Miletos with him, where her mother, Hilda, resides.
Altena
Class: Dragon Knight
The queen of Thracia. She's actually Cuan and Ethlin's daughter, which makes her Leaf's older sister. She came to Manster with Colhuta, but she had hesitations about charging in. After unsuccessfully trying to convince Colhuta to wait, she ended up sitting in the mountains, doing nothing.

One of Lifis' henchmen in charge of watching over Ith.

A commander put in charge of Fort Kelves by Reidric. He carries out the child hunting in the surrounding villages.

A general sent by Reidric to pursue Leaf after he escaped from Manster. He retreats after seeing Hannibal.

A mercenary hired by Gomes. Although he was a Thracian soldier, his wages weren't enough to feed his family, so he was working extra hours as a mercenary.
Gomes
Class: Warrior
A brigand who became the boss of the Purple Dragon Muntain bandits in Dagda's absence. He attacked Dagda out of frustration for not being able to make a living without resorting to banditry.
Merlock
Class: Dragon Knight
The leader of the squad sent by Trabant to defeat Leaf after he entered Thracian land.
Largo
Class: General
An old veteran defending a fort on the Empire's border. A wise and kind man, he was like a grandfather to Olwen.
Oltoph
Class: Bishop
A bishop of Freeji commanded by Kempuf to defend Dandrum Fortress, while Kempuf himself fled. Oltoph employed the "Murder Hollace" to fight Leaf's army to the death, but he also tried to flee halfway through.
Colho
Class: Warrior
A member of Pahn's Dandelion. However, he goes against Pahn's ways, and he murders travelers and innocent villagers for loot.
Rist
Class: General
The commander of the Empire's 20th Legion. He's very ambitious, and he doesn't want Baldack to take all the credit. He charges into Tahra against his superior's orders in an attempt to win all the credit for himself.
Baldack
Class: General
The commander of the Empire's 8th Legion. He leads the frontmost lines in the Empire's assault on Tahra.
Paulus
Class: Baron
The commander of the Empire's 5th Legion, and the leader of the attack on Tahra. He has hesitations about the Empire's ways.

A knight of Thracia. He was sent by Trabant to sneak into Tahra and secure the castle while the Empire was busy fighting Leaf's army.

The marquess of Lenster after the Empire took control. He puts the people through much misery and suffering. He uses his vast wealth to hire troops and buy good equipment to defend himself.

A general of Freeji. He attacked Lenster's castle for half a year in an attempt to conquer it.

The leader of the mercenaries guarding Fort Danzhi.

The commander of the Empire's 30th Legion. He fought to defend Fort Danzhi along with Seymetol.

The commander of the Empire's 27th Legion. He was put in charge of the detention center inside Fort Danzhi.
Coen

The commander of the Empire's 26th Legion. He raised Cyas a child. After letting Cyas escape, he fought to the death to defend the Great River of Thracia.

A knight defending Manster.
Alphan
Class: Dark Bishop
A Lopto bishop put in charge of defending the castle gate at Manster by Reidric. He has a bad habit of leaving his spell books lying around and not being able to find them later.
Colhuta
Class: Dragon Knight
A Thracian general who came to Manster with Altena. Under Trabant's orders, he seeks to charge into Manster when Reidric is busy dealing with Leaf and capture the city in the meantime.
